CHS overcomes pandemic hurdles to score above average on 2020-2021 state tests.

In a year of many changes and disruptions, Caledonia High School over-performed its peers across all 4 subject area tested classes. As the COVID-19 pandemic surged prior to the start of the school year; a 2 week delayed start was implemented. When students and teachers returned they were both tasked with hybrid and virtual learning models for the first time. Hard work and perseverance by both teachers and students generated impressive results.

CHS scored the highest in both pass rate and proficient/advanced levels among all schools within the Lowndes County School district; as well as scoring higher than the State of Mississippi and Golden Triangle area schools average.
